IT Sales Consultant

As an integral part of the team, the IT Sales Consultant is the principal point of contact between Digital Guru and its customers. In this role, you would maintain positive relationships with current customers by offering support and ensuring satisfaction. You would also create opportunities to engage with new customers by identifying new markets and customer leads.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Promote, market, and sell, Digital Guru, integrated security, access control, video surveillance systems and installations, printers, computers, service contracts and other low voltage solutions.
  • Cultivate customer relationships, deliver effective proposals, and negotiate contracts to capture profitable new business
  • Grow business prospects through; networking, cold calling, and referrals
  • Assist Tech and Install teams in guiding secured new business and projects to successful completion
  • Ensure proposals, objectives, and deliverables to maximize operating profit and revenue growth
  • Establish and maintain customer pricing consistent with the organization’s objectives
  • Prepare and submit all required sales reports, expenses, competitive activity, and correspondence

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS: BA/BS degree with a concentration in marketing, promotions, advertising sales, or business administration preferred. Three-to-five years of industry sales experience also preferred.

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, ABILITIES: The individual must possess these skills and abilities with or without reasonable accommodation:

  • Proven experience in sales or relevant position
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of discretion and confidentially required
  • Understanding of sales principles and an ability to communicate concepts effectively
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to build relationships with peers, cross-functional counterparts, and upper management
  • In-depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
  • Knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
  • Ability to meet deadlines and manage stress effectively in high-pressure situations

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
